Underdog is victorious with Michael Grimm America’s Got Talent

The fifth year of “America’s Got Talent” has just . . There were three incredibly talented singers in Prince Poppycock, Jackie Evancho, and Michael Grimm, and Fighting Gravity, an awesome dance crew. The ending was amazing, and had some great invitee performances. Donna Summer and Jewel had duets with contestants, and an appearance from Lionel Ritchie made the last episode as solid as a brick house. Evancho was very easily the preferred. A girl of only ten, with a powerful operatic voice belying her years and bringing comparisons to Susan Boyle. The victor, however, proved to be the underdog Michael Grimm.

Great spectacle on last show

The “America’s Got Talent” season five finale was set to be an epic contest. The final competitive stage, though, took place two days before it. That is when the contestants put on the last performance for points for the season. Michael Grimm is sort of the singer/songwriter type, with a really bluesy tinge. Prince Poppycock was something a little different. An opera vocalist at heart, but he uses elaborate costumes and stages in an act that manages to fuse Kiss, Lady Gaga, and Paul Revere and also the Raiders. Finally, there was Jackie Evancho, the pint size vocalist with a Godzilla size voice. The odd man out, of sorts, was Fighting Gravity, and incredibly talented dance troupe.

Last programs always have a Grimm undercurrent

The show gets voted on just like “American Idol,” and just like that show, viewers have to wait for the results. Prince Poppycock got buzzed by Piers Morgan, as outlined by Columbia Broadcasting System, during his performance. It wasn’t without reason though. Poppycock fairly much has one act, however with different songs. Evancho had the fact that she is only 10 years old on her side. That said, after so numerous ballads, people get bored. That is probably why Michael Grimm won “America’s Got Talent.” Singers win this show, as only one of the five winners has not been a singer. According to People, Grimm already has plans. He will purchase a house for his grandparents.

Guests steal the program

Just about everyone paired with a great entertainer for the final show performance. Poppycock performed with Donna Summer, Lionel Ritchie sang “Dancing on the Ceiling” for Fighting Gravity and Grimm performed a duet with Jewel, singing “Me and Bobby McGee.” This season wrapped up well.
